This aerial photo, taken end of August, 2005 in the middle of construction, is representative of the master
plan of the ranch, and was used to lay out fencing and cross-fencing for several pastures. The ranch is surrounded by pristine
forest land that enhances it's privacy, the wilderness atmosphere, and the scenic value of trails.
The
Stables includes the barn manager's apartment, ten stalls including a foaling stall, indoor round training pen with viewing
deck, full bath with laundry facilities, climate controlled tack rooms, indoor and outdoor hot water wash racks, and the bunk
house lounge. Overnight stabling is available for those traveling with horses.

The 12'x12' stalls are well ventilated with lots of natural light and are serviced by an overhead automated
water-based fly spray system. Each stall has a back door to access a 24'x60' sheltered run pen with sand footing.
Lighted and irrigated 160'x100'
indoor arena with viewing lounge, classroom or meeting room, ADA bathroom, kitchenette, and private conference room upstairs.
Perfect for club events, family gatherings, educational seminars, and small group meetings. Catering available. Call for
rates and availability. Click on the link below to view a virtual tour of the indoor arena. It is a large file and may take
a 4-5 minutes to download.

Day riders are also welcome to trailer in to use the indoor arena by appointment. Riders must call in advance
so the arena can be properly watered before horses enter the ring. Regular day rider rules and fees apply.
The outdoor arena, located behind the stables, is approximately 125'x235' with river sand footing.
New PVC fencing and stadium-type light fixtures have been installed for evening riding and events. Entrance to horse camp
and river cabin at far end.
Horse safe high density plastic fencing surrounds the turnout pastures where horses spend several hours a day.
No pasture board is available at this time. All eight of our pastures are used to provide individual turnout, eliminating
injuries caused by alpha horses establishing leadership.
The retreat cabin, nestled at the edge of the woods for privacy, offers a view of the pond from the front deck,
and a lovely view of Grove River from the back deck. For more photos and info on the cabin, mini-campground and trails, visit
the "Lodging, Camping & Trails" page. Contact us to receive a current rate sheet and check the availability.

Day
riders are welcome to come ride in the arenas or on our trails ($5/horse grounds fee). Call ahead please, trails closed in
very wet conditions for resource protection and horse/rider safety. Trails may also be closed during some events. Please
download our waiver, complete it and bring it with you to check in.
PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT RENT HORSES OR GIVE GUIDED TRAIL RIDES TO THE GENERAL
PUBLIC.
